I've deposited my funds but I don't see them in my account. What's happening?
Not all deposited funds will appear in your account immediately. Some deposit methods will take longer to process while some are almost instantaneous. Please refer to the table above to see how long each mode of deposit takes.
The funding method says it will be "Instant" but I do not see my funds. Did I do something wrong?
Please give it up to 10 minutes for funds to appear in your account. If it takes longer than that, our customer service staff will be more than glad to help you track and ensure your funds have gone through safely.
Where are my funds held?
Your funds are not held with Blue Ocean Financials. All client money is managed in accordance with client money laws and kept separate from company funds. Client money is held in segregated Client Trust Accounts.
I'd like to withdraw my funds to a different bank account, can I do that?
Yes - if the bank account is in the same name as the account you have with Blue Ocean Financials. If the name differs (eg. company name vs personal name), it cannot be done in accordance to strict Anti-Money Laundering policies.
Do you charge any fees for deposits and withdrawals?
We do not charge any fees/commission on deposits/withdrawals, however, you may be subject to fees from banks involved in the case of bank transfers. Please note that for e-wallets, there may be a fee for withdrawals, if you have not traded.
What is the recommended minimum amount to fund?
The recommended minimum amount is $500 USD equivalent but you can fund with as little as $100 in these currencies: EUR, GBP, USD, AUD, NZD
What conversion rates do you use?
Blue Ocean clients benefit from some of the most competitive rates in the industry. For deposits from an external funding source and withdrawals to an external funding source, funds will be converted as per the daily bank rate.
What should I do if I have not received my withdrawal?
If you have made a withdrawal request via Bank Transfer and have not received your funds within 5 working days, please contact our Client Accounting Department at [email protected], and we will provide you with a Swift Copy.
